You will gain hands-on experience across the full deal lifecycle, with a steep learning curve and direct exposure to clients and transaction stakeholders.</p> <p>To reinforce our growing TCF team in Zurich, with a particular focus on M&A, we are currently looking for an M&A (Senior) Consultant.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Your key responsibilities</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review key transaction deliverables, including information memoranda, teasers, process materials, management presentations and other client-facing materials.</li> <li>Perform and review company financial models and valuations using market multiples, precedent transactions, DCF analyses and other valuation methodologies.</li> <li>Support and execute M&A transactions from origination through closing, managing workstreams and coordinating and interacting with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, lawyers).</li> <li>Conduct industry, market and company analyses to support strategic decision-making and transaction execution.</li> <li>Develop target identification and buyer screening analyses, including long lists and short lists.</li> <li>Participate in and coordinate due diligence processes, identify key findings and translate them into actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Execute multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to tight deadlines.</li> <li>Support business development initiatives, including pitch preparation and proposal development.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>What we look for</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field, with a strong academic record.</li> <li>2–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Deal Advisory or Private Equity.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in executing transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and stakeholder management.</li> <li>Ability to engage in client and buyer communications and take ownership across the transaction cycle.</li> <li>Ability to show initiate and support several transactions in parallel.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German; French is considered a strong asset, with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and develop practical recommendations.</li> <li>Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset, strong client focus and the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>What’s in it for you</h2> <p> </p> <p>Here at EY, you’ll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience.
