<p><strong>Manager – Cyber Security Delivery & Transformation</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>EY South Africa is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Manager with a strong delivery background. This role will focus on managing cybersecurity projects and programmes from initiation through delivery while ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder management and commercial discipline.</p> <p>Unlike the Senior Manager role, this position is delivery-focused rather than sales-focused. We are looking for candidates who can manage fast-paced engagements, coordinate resources, maintain budgets, manage risks and successfully deliver complex cybersecurity outcomes.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>8–12 years cybersecurity experience.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>3–5 years operating at Manager level or equivalent.</li> <li>Proven experience delivering cybersecurity programmes and projects.</li> <li>Strong project and programme management capability.</li> <li>Experience managing budgets, resources, timelines and risks.</li> <li>Ability to lead local and offshore delivery teams.</li> <li>Strong client engagement skills.</li> <li>Ability to work across multiple engagements simultaneously.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Preferred Technical Background</strong></p> <p>Strong experience in:</p> <ul> <li>Cloud Security</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Splunk</li> <li>SIEM and SOC environments</li> <li>Security Architecture</li> <li>Security Monitoring</li> <li>Cyber Operations</li> <li>Threat Detection and Response</li> <li>Vulnerability Management</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience in the following would be advantageous:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>AI for Security Operations</li> <li>Security Copilot</li> <li>Security Automation</li> <li>SOAR Platforms</li> <li>Threat Intelligence</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Mandatory Requirements</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Relevant degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Proven cybersecurity project delivery experience.</li> <li>Strong stakeholder and team management capability.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Certifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>CISSP</li> <li>CISM</li> <li>CCSP</li> <li>Splunk Enterprise Security</li> <li>Splunk Cloud</li> <li>SC-200</li> <li>SC-100</li> <li>AZ-500</li> <li>Agile, Scrum or PMP certifications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Success Factors</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong delivery discipline.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Effective team leadership.</li> <li>Strong client communication.</li> <li>Practical cloud and Splunk experience.</li> <li>Ability to consistently deliver quality outcomes </li> </ul>
