The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.</li> </ul> The Opportunity As a SAP IS U ABAP Developer, you will be part of a high impact Utilities transformation program, working on complex SAP IS U and SAP Workflow–driven solutions across Electricity, Gas, or Water domains. You will contribute to end to end implementations, enhancements, and support activities, playing a key role in building scalable, event driven technical solutions for Meter to Cash processes using ABAP and SAP Workflow. Your Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Design, develop, and enhance ABAP solutions in SAP IS U integrated with SAP Workflow.</li> <li>Develop and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).</li> </ul> Design and implement SAP Workflow solutions including: <ul> <li>Workflow templates, tasks, containers, bindings, and conditions</li> <li>Event driven workflows using BOR / Class based objects</li> <li>Debugging workflows using SWI1, SWDD, SWEL</li> </ul> Work on IS U modules including: <ul> <li>Device Management (DM)</li> <li>Billing & Invoicing</li> <li>Customer Service (CS)</li> <li>FI CA (Events, Dunning, Collections, Payments)</li> <li>Implement Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, and FQ Events.</li> <li>Develop ALV reports (Classical, Interactive, OO ALV).</li> <li>Support Move In, Move Out, Disconnection, Reconnection, Meter Installation/Replacement processes through workflow enabled solutions.</li> <li>Develop and maintain SmartForms / Adobe Forms for billing and workflow triggered correspondence.</li> <li>Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, and workflow event interfaces.</li> <li>Perform debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of ABAP and workflow issues.</li> <li>Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to coding standards and workflow best practices.</li> </ul> Skills and Attributes for Success <ul> <li>Strong hands on experience in SAP ABAP with deep exposure to SAP IS U.</li> </ul> Strong working knowledge of SAP Workflow concepts, including: <ul> <li>Workflow templates and tasks</li> <li>Workflow container and bindings</li> <li>Condition steps and decision logic</li> <li>Event linkage and triggering mechanisms</li> <li>Solid understanding of Meter to Cash utilities business processes.</li> <li>Expertise in Core ABAP (DDIC, Reports, ALV, Modularization, Debugger).</li> <li>Working knowledge of OO ABAP (Classes, Methods, Events).</li> <li>Experience with IS U Master Data (BMD, TMD).</li> <li>Strong analytical skills for translating functional and process requirements into workflow enabled technical solutions.</li> <li>Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot standard and custom workflows.</li> <li>Good communication and documentation skills.</li> </ul> Ideally, You’ll Also Have <ul> <li>Experience designing complex, multi step SAP Workflows.</li> <li>Exposure to Event based processing in IS U / FI CA (e.g., FQ Events, workflow events).</li> <li>Experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and OData.</li> <li>Exposure to ECC to S/4HANA IS U migration or conversion projects.</li> <li>Utilities industry experience (Electricity, Gas, or Water).</li> <li>SAP certification in ABAP, SAP Workflow, or SAP IS U.</li> <li>Experience working in Agile / client facing delivery models.</li> </ul> What We Look For <ul> <li>A strong techno functional mindset with hands on ABAP and Workflow expertise.</li> <li>Ability to design robust workflow driven business processes.</li> <li>Someone who takes ownership of technical solutions end to end.</li> <li>A quality focused professional who follows best practices in ABAP and Workflow design.</li> <li>A collaborative team player who can work effectively with functional, business, and onshore/offshore teams.</li> <li>Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving SAP technologies and utilities processes.</li> </ul> What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
