Role Purpose <div>As a Senior Consultant within the IT Category team, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage complex procurement activities across a range of IT sub-categories, including Hardware, Software, SaaS, Network, Telecom, and Colocation services. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value through cost optimization, commercial excellence, risk management, and innovative sourcing strategies. reduction opportunities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Ability to formulate category specific cost / license / service models such as. for appropriate business needs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Working with clients and colleagues, define and implement IT strategies and sourcing area plans for global and regional strategies.</li> </ul> Management of Sourcing Initiatives <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Lead and execute IT (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) sourcing projects from end-to-end in line with agreed timelines and service quality.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Deliver allocated savings target as assigned to categories and locations though the effective management of sourcing initiatives, with proper tracking and reporting of savings achievements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Ensure a high-level of ethics in supplier and / or client engagements.</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Law, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or category management experience, preferably within IT procurement.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Strong knowledge of one or more IT procurement categories, including Hardware, Software, SaaS, Cloud, Datacenter, Network, Telecom, and Managed Services.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Solid understanding of software licensing models, subscription-based services, cloud consumption models, and IT service agreements.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations and managing commercial contracts with technology suppliers.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Experience working with major global IT vendors such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Cisco, Wipro, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar providers.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives concurrently.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Hands-on experience conducting RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes and evaluating supplier proposals.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and international teams.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Professional sourcing or procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, PMP) are advantageous.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black">Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.</li> </ul> Join a truly global team.
