<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>Gain experience and become efficient by assisting Assistant Athletics Director Sports Medicine and supervising team physicians with the delivery of athletic health care for intercollegiate athletes and athletic teams.</p> <p> </p> <p><em>This is a limited duration position, lasting 12 months.</em></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You'll Be Doing:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>The Athletic Trainer Associate<strong><em> </em></strong>will be a member of the Purdue Sports Medicine Department working under the direct supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director Sports Medicine<strong><em> </em></strong>and team physicians to assist in delivering athletic health care for intercollegiate athletes and athletic teams. Additional duties will include but are not limited to: </li> </ul> <p style="padding-left:40.0px"> *Assist in Providing service care given of emergency needs of student-athletes.</p> <p style="padding-left:40.0px"> * Assist in Providing immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients.</p> <p style="padding-left:40.0px"> * Assist in Providing supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity.</p> <p style="padding-left:40.0px"> * Assist in Providing appropriate documentation of care.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in supervising athletic training curriculum students as assigned.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining appropriate medical records for student-athletes health care.</li> <li>Assist in executing administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director Sports Medicine</li> <li>Assist to address other related health care problems as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Performance and Sports Medicine and/or supervising team physician.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About Us:</b></H2> </div><div><p>Purdue Athletics is built on unrivaled pride, unlimited potential, and a sense of shared purpose that unites staff, student-athletes, and the broader community.
