This is an excellent opportunity to participate in hands-on sustainability initiatives within<br>campus dining and gain experiential knowledge in food service sustainability.<br>Our programs include multi-stream waste diversion, microgreens and shoots, aquaponics, environmental<br>certifications and grants, and sustainability education initiatives.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><p>• - Maintain microgreens and shoots (planting, watering, harvesting)<br>- Monitor aquaponics system (water quality testing)<br>- Assist with sustainability outreach events (setup, breakdown, student engagement)<br>- Support waste-related initiatives<br>- Generate social media content<br>- Perform general office assistance and research</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><p>• Previous custodial experience preferred<br>• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.<br>• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals</p> <p> This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
