This is a role for a storyteller or communicator who is excited by data. You will play a central role in how one of Norway&apos;s largest global companies uses data, technology and strategic communication insight to shape its future. </p> <p>This is an opportunity to help build a new capability at the center of Hydro&apos;s strategic positioning efforts. You will be part of a highly competent and collaborative team, with significant exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to shape how Hydro uses data, insights and AI to strengthen its position globally. </p> <p>You will work on some of the most important questions facing a global industrial company, including sustainability, competitiveness, energy transition, industrial policy and stakeholder trust. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:28.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you will be doing</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Develop methodologies, frameworks and processes for stakeholder intelligence and strategic positioning analysis</li> <li>Collect, combine and analyze information from multiple sources. Turn external signals into recommendations for leadership, and measures for positioning</li> <li>Contribute to Hydro’s branding and positioning by developing compelling narratives, delivering events, producing high-quality content and communication materials, supporting executive visibility etc. </li> <li>Test and optimize tools to ensure our "intelligence engine" is operating at maximum efficiency and accuracy. This includes testing and integrating AI-enabled tools for data collection and sentiment analysis</li> <li>Maintain a pulse on emerging "comms-tech" trends. Proactively share findings and propose innovative methodologies to evolve how we use data and insights to position at a global level </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:28.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What will make you successful?</b></H2> </div><div><p>We believe successful candidates have some experience from working with either communication, stakeholder management or public affairs. However, you may come from a variety of other backgrounds, including research, analytics, political science or economics. </p> <p>You combine analytical rigor with sound judgement and can turn large amounts of information into practical recommendations that you and others can act on. You are curious, eager to explore the opportunities in AI and new technologies and like to succeed in a team. This role can be adapted to both more junior and more senior candidates. </p> <p><strong>Experience and qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>University degree in communications, political science, economics, international relations, business, data analytics, social sciences or a related field </li> <li>At least 5 years of relevant professional experience </li> <li>Experience from communication, stakeholder management or public affairs </li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal attributes </strong></p> <ul> <li>Understanding of qualitative and quantitative analysis</li> <li>Demonstrated interest and experience in AI and emerging technologies </li> <li>Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise recommendations </li> <li>Excellent written communication skills </li> <li>Excellent English language skills </li> </ul></div></div></div><h2>Equal opportunities</h2> <div> <p style="text-align:justify">At Hydro, we believe diversity makes us stronger.
