JOB DESCRIPTION:Position Summary KB Signaling has an opening for a real-time senior embedded Software Engineer in Its Wayside/On-Board Product Development team at Its Melbourne, FL location. In this role you will be responsible for delivering robust, deterministic real-time software solutions, providing technical leadership, and ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and compliance across the embedded software lifecycle. Essential Functions: <ul> <li style="line-height:11.05pt;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven experience across the full software development life cycle including requirements definition, design,implementation, integration & testing.</li> <li style="line-height:11.05pt;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ for real-time and safety-critical systems.</li> <li style="line-height:11.05pt;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience with development of drivers, middleware and application layer components.</li> <li style="line-height:11.1pt;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience with interfacing software to FPGAs, (OSPI/QSPI, GPMC). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. KB Signaling is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
