OVERVIEW The greenhouse technician is responsible for executing a range of tasks essential to the efficient daily operations of the greenhouse, ensuring timely delivering of plants in accordance with planned quantities, and established quality standards. Among other duties, the greenhouse technician will perform practices in all areas of plant cultivation within the greenhouse such as planting, irrigation, fertilization, trimming, pest and disease management, maintenance of equipment and keeping a clean and orderly work environment. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li style="color:black;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Plant care: Watering, fertilizing, trimming and staking plants as needed. Adjusting greenhouse systems to regulate temperature, humidity, lighting, and ventilation. </li> <li style="color:black;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Crop monitoring: Monitor plant cultivation to ensure optimal growing conditions, including temperature, humidity, light and nutrition. </li> <li style="color:black;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Pest and disease control: Scouting plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies. Apply appropriate treatments, including biological controls or pesticides according to established safety guidelines. </li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Quality control: Verify that plants meet specified quality standards.
