As a member of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Inspection team, you will be part of a team responsible for inspecting, reporting, and performing preventative maintenance on blades in our North American fleet of turbines. Role Responsibilities: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Adhere to the Company’s values and behaviors as aspired by RWEA and Operations Vision.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with policies and procedures established for the wind farm site. This includes wearing essential safety equipment, including a personal fall arrest system, as well as identifying potential hazards on the job. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Pass physical fitness tests required to maintain Global Wind Organization Certification. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Climb wind towers and access wind turbines to perform non-destructive testing and inspections. </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lift, carry, and transport essential equipment, tools, and materials to job site.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support a team in performing Non-Destructive Test & Inspections on multiple turbine manufactures, including GE, Siemens, Vestas, Gamesa, Acciona, Nordex, and/or Mitsubishi.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure that all inspection and scan activities are accurately recorded and documented to identify the failure history, mean time between failures and root causes.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform safety and other wind farm related tasks when assigned and fill in as back up to personnel at other RWE sites when necessary.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of all NDT equipment</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform all other duties assigned as may be required from time to time</li> </ul> Job Requirements and Experiences: <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High school diploma or equivalent required </li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A minimum of 2 years of overall experience in operations and/or maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
