<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Pipefitter</strong><br><strong>Boccard</strong><br><strong>Hinkley Point C</strong></p> <p><br>The role reports to the Working Pipefitting Supervisor.</p> <p> </p> <p>38 hour week<br>10/4 rotation<br>Pension<br>Holiday entitlement<br>Accomodation allowance (if eligible)</p> <p><br>The role will work collaboratively and closely with internal site colleagues including riggers, erectors, platers / fabricators, and welders. <br> <br> <br>Rigorously adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards set by the company and industry.<br>• Must be able to follow and execute the steps of the ITP.<br>• Comprehend detailed isometric drawings and be able to identify components and orientations.<br>• Ensure work aligns with the specifications laid out in the isometric drawings.<br>• Accurately mark pipes based on requirements for further processing, to ensure minimal material wastage and precise measurements in all tasks.<br>• Must be able to utilize industry-standard tools for cutting, shaping, and fabricating pipe spools i.e., angle grinders, internal grinders, and prepping machines.<br>• Fit and assemble pipe components with precision by accurately making sure gap, misalignment and prep angle are correct according to the specifications on the WPS.<br>• Collaborate with welding and installation teams to finalize assemblies.<br>• Periodically inspect tools, equipment, and workspace for potential hazards and to ensure optimal functionality.<br>• Participate in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental evaluations and identify areas of improvement.<br>• Report any risks or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.<br>• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay update with industry changes and advancements.<br>• To be fully aware and comply with Boccard UK Ltd's policy on Equality & Diversity.</p> <p><br>One of the following;</p> <p><br>• Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Construction - Pipefitter Standard (ST0162)<br>• Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting</p> <p>• ECITB Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting SCQF Level 6<br>• ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TPF05<br>• ACE Card </p> <p>• Turkish Level 3 Certificate Vocational Qualification in Industrial Pipe Fitting <br>• Indian Diploma in Mechanical Engineering </p> <p>• Indian National Trade Certificate (Pipe Fitting) </p> <p>• Turkish Certificate in Pipe Welding </p> <p>• Turkish Level 3 Industrial Pipe Fitter VQA Certificate<br>• Proven experience of pipefitting experience in a highly regulated environment, minimum 5 years</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
