What you will do: The candidate will be expected to work in the EU Capital Structuring within the Corporate Finance team. The main activity of work is supporting the daily financial management of the assigned Business Units (BU) to manage business finance activities. The candidate will analyse, prepare and execute the financial processes necessary for the financial viability of the projects being the most outstanding (i) assist in the assessment of the financing alternative and conditions to determine the adequate financial structure of the projects in time both in the construction phase and in the exploitation phase, whether short term or long term, including the preparation of financial models to run sensitivities, (ii) contribute in the contractual implementation of the selected source of financing (internal or external contracts, internal or external authorizations, etc.), either via corporate finance or via project finance, (iii) support the management for determination of the necessary interest rate and currency hedges, if any, and their monitoring during the term of such hedges, (iv) preparation and reporting of the covenants associated with project financing, (v) preparation and monitoring of project cash flow forecasts, and (vi) preparation of internal and external presentations and reporting. The role will mainly entail the identification, quantification, mitigation and monitoring of financial risks impacting the EDP Group across all its geographies and businesses.
