Job summary
You'll be joining our brand-new CQC-registered residential mental health service in Beckenham, developed in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. This marks an exciting milestone as Everyturn expands into London for the first time!
As a Nurse Support Practitioner, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care, ensuring service users receive personalised support aligned with their individual nursing care plans.
Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager, youll also provide day-to-day coordination and supervisory support to the Support Worker team.
Our 12-14 bed, clinically led community rehabilitation service will provide 24/7 clinical support to people with complex mental health needs, offering a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.

Main duties of the job
Deliver safe, effective care that meets the needs of service users, families, and carers. Administer and dispense medication in line with professional guidance, supporting Staff Nurses during medication rounds. Support Staff Nurses with day-to-day clinical duties. Prepare for and contribute to reviews with external professionals, including GPs and psychiatrists. Support colleagues to respond consistently to challenging behaviour in line with agreed nursing support plans. Coach and mentor Support Workers, supporting their development and confidence. Help ensure quality standards are met in line with professional and regulatory requirements.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health conditions and behaviours that challenge, with experience supporting service users who may present as highly emotive, aggressive, or difficult.
Qualifications Essential
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
Desirable
NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete) Safe Medicate training (or willingness to complete)
Knowledge and Skills Essential
Ability to work collaboratively with families, non-professional carers, and in community-based settings. Knowledge and awareness of the principles of person centred care and overall wellbeing, both mental and physical. Ability to recognise safeguarding issues, respond positively to difficult or unpredictable circumstances, while recognising and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to proactively identify and escalate risks to reduce potential harm. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload under pressure and demonstrate strong emotional resilience. Competent in IT, including Office 365 Respect for individual rights, including dignity and confidentiality, and alignment with the organisations values of compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and innovation.
