Job summary
As an experiencedinformationanalyst, you will have in-depth knowledge and practical experience of using SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)andPower BI. You will have knowledge and practical experience of reporting techniques and presentations and havepreviousexperience of working in an information management environment.
The post holderwill need to workin aspecialistsystemsdevelopmentteamandbe responsible forassistinginthe development, implementationandtesting of Clinical systems and reporting tools to provide high quality clinical and management information to end users throughout the Trust. To provide testingsupportforenhancementsofcore hospitals systems.
Main duties of the job
Assistin the provision of specialist knowledge on system development and testing to a range of end users across the Trust
Assistin the development and implementation of robust systems for the collection of both clinical and management information to aid the smooth running of services and performance management
Provide training and support on newly developed systems and work with end users on developing enhancements
Investigate and develop new methods of reporting using the latest programming and analytical methodologies that are available

Excellent understanding of data quality and its importance in delivering high quality information Excellent understanding of the statutory reporting processes. Excellent understanding of the extensive range of NHS data sets including Service Level Agreements, the Quality agenda and national KPI data sets Awareness of the NHS Plan. Excellent awareness of Local Delivery Plans (LDPS) and processes Experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders at senior levels internally and externally Minimum of one year's experience working in an Information Development role or environment analysing complex data using a variety of sources/ information systems Experience of data analysis and interpretation in a clinical environment
