Job summary This position covers Banbury, Tewkesbury, Malvern and Oxford. This varied position will provide the opportunity to witness the skilled progression of staff from their first day, throughout their Barchester career. This is a home-based position that will involve travel around a specific region.

Main duties of the job Barchester Healthcare is looking for an Operational Trainer covering Banbury, Tewkesbury, Malvern, and Oxford. They are responsible for the induction and development training of staff in about five care homes and hospitals within a specific region. The role involves ensuring staff are competent and confident to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. Barchester is renowned for quality care and has been recognized as an exemplary employer. Trainers act as initial contacts for new hires and play a vital role in staff progression throughout their career at Barchester. This home-based position requires travel around the region and demands 2 years of training experience, a C&G 7300 qualification or equivalent, a Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or social care experience, knowledge of care sector legislation, and a UK driving license. Responsibilities include coordinating training, maintaining training files, planning training calendars, and interacting with new team members. C&G 7300 (or equivalent), Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience of working in social care sector, 2 years training experience, Full UK driving licence
