About this role

Job summary Cygnet Group is looking for a confident and compassionate Senior Support Worker (Days) with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our dedicated team at Nightingale.

Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will play a key role in supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities, helping them to lead fulfilling lives while promoting independence, well-being, and community integration. You will lead by example, providing high-quality person-centred care and supporting colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week Shift Pattern: Across a 7-day rota, including two weekends per month Shift Times: Shifts may start from 7:00 am, with some finishing at 10:00 pm

Residents We Support:

Adults from the age of 18 years Individuals w ith a diagnosis of autism & learning disability May present with behaviours that challenge May have communication challenges May have associated complex needs Are subjected to DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) or Care Orders

Your day-to-day

Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required Safeguard Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
