Are you caring, compassionate and motivated to make a positive difference to someone’s life? Your Life Your Way is looking for a Care Support Assistant to support a person based in [insert detail]. This is a rewarding role where you will provide person-centred support, promote independence, and help the person live the life they choose. Full training will be provided before you start work, with ongoing support from the wider team. Hours: 20 hours per week, for 3 weeks on the rolling rota and 10 hours on the 4th week of the rolling rota. Rate of pay: £17.49 per hour (days) & £ 18.24 per hour (Waking nights)
Main duties of the job

Personal hygiene
Toileting
Food & drink preparation and support to eat and drink.
Moving & handling.
Skin integrity
Non-invasive ventilation during the night.
Medication administration.
Cough assist.
Social activities.

We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in the Wimbolden area of London.

About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £17.49 per hour for days and £18.24 per hour for waking nights.
This position involves 3 weeks of the rolling rota will be 20 hours per week and 1 week on the rolling rota is 10 hours per week, including waking night and day shifts.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible Providing companionship and emotional support Helping with household tasks and meal preparation Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities Administering medication when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature Good communication skills A genuine desire to support others Basic IT and record-keeping skills A full UK driving licence is advantageous Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
