Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team where you will deliver a high standard of care.
We have 2 fantastic opportunities available right now, one within the Stroke Unit and one within Rehab. Either role can be worked full time or part time/job share. These roles are at Senior level so entry level applicants will not be considered. Both roles are a great opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to step into their next stage of their career in a leadership role.
Main duties of the job

Providing specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to patients' needs.
To be responsible for your own caseload, working without direct supervision
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff, students, and therapy support personnel.
To be able to carry out comprehensive therapy assessments and interventions in line with best practice to gain a holistic assessment of patients with a wider range of impairments
Driving innovation through audit, research, and the adoption of best practices.
Undertake evidence based audit and research projects to further own and teams clinical practice.
Working closely alongside other Professionals such as Physiotherapists.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registration
HIVE and community equipment services but not essential
Discharge planning and pathways experience
Experience working within the Community setting or Inpatients
Rehabilitation/Stroke experience is essential for this role.
Supervise, educate and assess the performance of occupational therapy students & apprentices
