Yorkshire Health Partners (YHP) is looking for a highly organised and proactive Programme Co-ordinator to support the operational delivery of a range of programmes and projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring projects stay on track, supporting teams to deliver real improvements in services and outcomes. You will be at the centre of activitycoordinating workstreams, monitoring progress, and helping turn plans into action.

Experience in health, care, or public sector settings is helpful but not essential.

Please note this role will require travel across the East Riding of Yorkshire which is a very rural area and attendance at our Head Office in South Cave as well as home working.

Although being advertised as a full time post, we will consider 2 x part time positions for the right candidates.

Main duties of the job

You will:

Coordinate and track delivery across multiple projects and workstreams Monitor progress, risks, and actions, helping keep programmes on schedule Support the implementation of projects, including pilot initiatives and service improvements Work closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure activities are well organised and aligned Prepare reports and maintain accurate programme documentation Provide administrative support where needed to keep programmes running smoothly About You

Job Purpose

The Programme Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of programmes and projects across YHP, ensuring that workstreams are actively managed, monitored, and progressed.

The postholder will focus on coordinating programme activity, tracking delivery, supporting implementation, and maintaining oversight of performance, risks, and outcomes, while also providing administrative support where required.

This role is central to ensuring that programme activity moves from planning into effective delivery, supporting teams to stay on track, identify issues early, and achieve intended outcomes.

Operational Programme Delivery

Coordinate and track delivery across multiple projects, ensuring actions, milestones, and outputs are actively progressed Maintain and update project plans, action logs, risk logs, and delivery trackers, ensuring they reflect current status Proactively monitor progress, identifying risks, issues, and delays, and escalating appropriately Follow up on actions with teams and stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum Support implementation of project activities, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines and objectives Assist in coordinating pilot activities and service improvements, ensuring operational readiness and delivery Support teams to stay organised and focused on agreed priorities Governance and Reporting

Support the coordination of programme governance, ensuring meetings, boards, and reporting cycles are maintained Prepare and collate regular progress reports, highlighting delivery status, risks, and key issues Maintain accurate logs of risks, issues, actions, and decisions Support the tracking of performance data and outcomes Act as a key coordination point between teams, ensuring effective communication across operational, clinical, and managerial staff Liaise with stakeholders to gather updates, resolve queries, and progress actions Support the preparation and distribution of communications and updates Facilitate effective collaboration across teams Service Development & Improvement Support

Support the coordination of service development and pilot initiatives, ensuring actions are implemented and tracked Assist with gathering information for business cases, evaluations, and service reviews Collect and organise feedback from stakeholders to support continuous improvement Contribute to identifying operational improvements and efficiencies Administrative Support

Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling, minutes, and diary coordination

Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation Input and manage data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Respond to routine queries and direct as appropriate Financial & Resource Support

Assist in monitoring programme budgets and tracking expenditure Support resource planning and coordination activities Maintain accurate records to support financial reporting General Responsibilities

Qualifications Essential

NVQ Level 3 / A-levels or equivalent experience in a relevant area (e.g. administration, business support, healthcare, or project support) Evidence of continued development in workplace skills (e.g. IT, administration, coordination)

Desirable

Qualification or training in project, programme support, or service improvement Evidence of training in data handling, reporting, or governance processes

Knowledge and skills Essential

Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and tracking systems Ability to monitor progress and identify issues or delays, escalating where appropriate Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and build effective relationships Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Ability to follow processes, procedures, and governance requirements
