Job summary The job role is for a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare, located in Mertsham, Surrey. The role involves creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents of the 42-bedded Nursing, Dementia, and Residential care home, which is rated 9.8 on Carehome.co.uk. Main duties of the job The Sous Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for the residents of the care home. They will need to have a passion for food and a creative flair to provide a high level of hospitality. The role involves working a 38-hour week, including every other weekend, with shift times from 8am to 6pm. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
The Sous Chef role requires a high level of culinary skills and experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry. The successful candidate will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor the team.
