The Commercial Banking Client On-boarding (CBCO) Know Your Customer (KYC) Organization will be the team supporting client coverage with the fulfillment of Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ KYC requirements.
The CBCO KYC Organization is seeking a KYC Relationship Officer who will partner with Bankers and AML/KYC Operations to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at inception and renewal of client relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage client and partner expectations and understanding in a consultative wayExhibit ownership of KYC/AML experience and client experienceEnsure KYC/AML deliverables are met and hold internal partners accountableDemonstrate ongoing understanding of KYC/AML processes and work through delays and/or inefficienciesManage operational risk effectively through diligent awareness of risks in our processesEscalate appropriate risk items and drive issues to closureManage client risk effectively by supporting the banker in client selection processIndependently manage renewal cycle of Due Diligence Forms with Relationship Management PartnershipAccountable for timely portfolio management while maintaining quality expectations Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
Ability to properly identify AML risks and apply the AML/KYC policy conceptsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in financial servicesWorking knowledge of risk factors that may impact specific products and industriesAbility to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resourcesStrong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groupsIndependent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environmentPrevious credit training or underwriting experience
