The Role

The Customer Product Engineer is the voice of the customer and the heartbeat of Alchemy’s developer community. You’ll be the first technical touchpoint for developers building in Web3, embedded in key community channels like Discord, Telegram, and other developer forums. This role is a blend of full stack engineering, product influence, and developer community engagement. You’ll help developers debug code, navigate our APIs, and troubleshoot RPC issues — all while capturing insights that shape the future of our platform. You’ll partner closely with Product and Engineering to make sure the developer voice is represented in everything we do. This is the perfect role for someone technical who wants to go deep on blockchain fundamentals, build strong relationships with builders, and influence the product roadmap from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

Build and ship code while working directly with our developer community to diagnose system-level issues across APIs, infrastructure, and on-chain workflows

Translate real user pain into insights that shape what we build next

Partner across Product and Engineering by surfacing product gaps, tracking adoption, and influencing the roadmap through data and intuition

Drive developer activation by designing better onboarding flows, examples, and integrations

Represent the developer perspective in product and engineering discussions, advocating for usability, reliability, and scale

Thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and help us scale what’s working

What We’re Looking For:

1+ years of experience in developer, customer engineering, or technical support roles

Technical background - Computer Science degree, bootcamp, or self-taught with real-world projects

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Solidity)

Comfortable debugging API requests, dev environments, and blockchain-related tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - especially in online community settings

Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail

Experience working in crypto / Web3, or built a relevant side project a plus

Founder experience is a plus

More on the Role

Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as equity. Additionally, Alchemy offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 - $180,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include annual bonus, equity, or benefits. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
