HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Will be required to complete training Ability to identify waste streams within the areas assignedDistinguish between hazardous and non-hazardous waste and transport safely through the facility utilizing building and grounds as neededRead, understand, and follow “Waste labeling manual”Properly load waste for shipment and complete the appropriate accompanying paperworkComplete tracking of waste through various processes (non-conforming parts routing, scrap tickets, etc)

Provide coverage for other positions in the department while operators are on breakMaintain housekeeping on 3rd floor as outlined in SOPsAbility to operate a forkliftMay be required to change shifts or work overtime.May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

High School Diploma.1 year manufacturing experience preferred.Forklift Experience Report to the assigned SupervisorIndirectly responsible for results in assigned area, not a direct people leaderMust wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs when in manufacturing area.Ability to work in a noisy environment and be exposed to low levels of carbon black dust, which maybe dirty.Be aware of all safety regulations and the visibility of forklifts on the work floor.Standing for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basisAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Union EnvironmentEEO-Statement:
