Job Title: Warehouse Associate Hourly Rate: $29.62 per hour Location: Kelowna, British Columbia Door Systems is Hiring! Are you looking to build a long-term career with a growing company? Door Systems is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kelowna. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our operations by receiving and organizing inventory, preparing customer orders, building torsion springs, and maintaining an efficient warehouse. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with their hands. Responsibilities: · Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy. · Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations. · Prepare outbound shipments and transfers across Canada. · Build and assemble torsion springs using specialized equipment and a torch (training provided). · Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely (training and certification provided). · Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory counts. · Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete. · Pick, pack, and stage materials for service and installation crews. · Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. · Load and unload trucks and deliveries. · Assist with general warehouse operations and branch support as required. · Follow all company safety policies and procedures. · Participate in ongoing training and team development activities. Qualifications · Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required. · Trades, construction, mechanical, or manufacturing experience considered a strong asset. · Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. · Experience using power tools. · Forklift experience is an asset; certification will be provided. · Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. · Positive attitude and strong work ethic. · Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. · Basic math and measurement skills. · Effective verbal and written communication skills. · High school diploma or equivalent. · Must be able to pass a background check. Working Conditions · Warehouse and yard environment. · Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. · Regular lifting, pulling, pushing, and material handling. · Use of power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, and torch equipment.
