*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and repair automotive systems using mechanical knowledge, schematics, and diagnostic tools * Perform maintenance on vehicles including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, transmission repairs and electrical troubleshooting * Conduct vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs. * Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies. * Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of heavy equipment to ensure a safe work environment * Assist with the assembly, installation, or removal of mechanical components as needed * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients * Adhere to dealership quality standards and customer satisfaction goals. * Inspect and maintain shop equipment and tools, reporting any defects or maintenance needs. * Meet productivity, efficiency, and quality performance targets established by the dealership.
*Requirements*
* Automotive Service Technician certification is required * Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician; dealership experience is a plus * Hands-on experience with automotive repair, electrical systems and heavy equipment operation * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions * Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration * Valid driver?s license with clean driving record preferred
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
