Team Overview The Mobilization and Blended Finance team at FinDev Canada is dedicated to scaling our development impact by attracting and deploying private sector capital into challenging markets. Through the design of blended finance solutions and collaboration with institutional partners, the team mitigates risk, enhances bankability, and enables investments that drive sustainable and inclusive economic development. What You Will Be Doing Private Capital Mobilization Strategy
• Lead FinDev Canada?s long-term PCM strategy, including methodology refinement and mobilization target setting. • Provide thought leadership on global mobilization standards (OECD, EDFI, DFIs) to ensure alignment with best practices. • Serve as the internal SME on PCM, advising senior leadership on strategy, market trends, and portfolio implications. New Product Development
• Design and structure risk-sharing mechanisms and financial instruments to catalyze private capital (e.g., guarantees, A/B loans, unfunded risk participation, local currency solutions). • Lead cross-functional working groups to ensure operational readiness and alignment with Risk Management.
