Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver thorough, gentle dental cleanings and preventative care * Create a comfortable, reassuring environment for patients * Perform scaling, polishing, and periodontal screenings * Take and process dental x-rays following safety protocols * Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care * Maintain and update detailed patient records using Dentrix software * Process various instruments as needed
Patient Demographics:
You'll work with a diverse patient base including:
* Families and children * Seniors * Preventative care focused patients * Periodontal patients * Patients requiring various levels of dental care
Required Qualifications:
* Current Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) * Valid Ontario dental hygienist license * Proficiency with Open Dental software * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient comfort * Experience in creating a calming environment for patients * Excellent communication abilities for patient education * Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude * Commitment to delivering personalized patient care * Certified CPR and First Aid Certification
