*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Renovation Contractor to lead and execute a variety of residential and commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, carpentry, and finishing work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. The Renovation Contractor will be responsible for managing project timelines, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with clients and team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
*Responsibilities*
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute renovation projects. * Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively. * Perform construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, flooring installation, tile laying, painting, caulking, masonry, and concrete finishing. * Estimate project costs and materials using construction estimating techniques to ensure budget adherence. * Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and other fixtures with precision. * Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. * Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project completion. * Maintain a clean work environment and organize job sites efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in construction or renovation projects with demonstrated skills in carpentry, or related trades. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized installation techniques such as tile laying or concrete finishing. * Strong knowledge of safety protocols and building codes relevant to renovation work. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands. * Ability to estimate costs effectively and manage project timelines efficiently. * Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
