Job description:
Warehouse Worker Job Responsibilities:
* Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. * Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. * Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. * Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. * Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. * Provides quality service by following organization standards. * Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. * Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Completes reports by entering required information. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, containers, and shipments Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all workplace safety regulations and company procedures Assist with general warehouse duties as required Requirements: Valid forklift license/certification (required) Previous warehouse experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Basic computer skills for inventory systems (preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Working Conditions: Fast-paced warehouse environment Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods May involve working in varying temperatures Schedule: Monday-friday
