?*Role Overview*
We are seeking a skilled *Licensed Sheet Metal Worker* to join our crew. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components and structures in strict accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications.
?*Key Responsibilities*
?*Fabrication & Installation:* Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products for diverse project sites.
?*Blueprint Precision:* Interpret and work directly from mechanical drawings and blueprints.
?*Equipment Operation:* Operate shop tools including shears, brakes, rolls, punches, and various cutting tools.
?*Layout & Assembly:* Measure, mark, and layout sheet metal for accurate fabrication; perform fitting, forming, and assembly of metal components.
?*Quality Control:* Inspect finished work to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.
?*Collaboration:* Work with supervisors, engineers, and team members to solve fabrication challenges and follow all safety procedures.
?*Qualifications & Skills*
?*License:* Licensed Sheet Metal Worker (*308A or 308R Low Rise*).
?*Gas Ticket:* *Gas Technician G2 is highly preferred* (but not necessary).
?*Experience:* Proven experience in residential, commercial, and industrial sheet metal installation.
?*Technical Proficiency:* Solid understanding of cutting, bending, forming, and assembly; experience with standard shop equipment.
?*Attributes:* Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently while working independently.
?*Safety & Communication:* *WHMIS Certification* and excellent teamwork/communication skills.
