We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant, for a 14 month temporary maternity leave replacement, to join our team in Surrey, BC. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting our company's growth and operational excellence. *Responsibilities*
* Manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. * Conduct internal audits to maintain compliance with company policies. * Oversee risk management procedures related to financial activities. * Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. * Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations. * Support external audits by providing necessary documentation. * Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Collaborate with team members to enhance internal controls. * *Qualifications* * 10 Years of Proven experience in accounting, auditing, or related fields. * Strong knowledge of accounting software and internal audit procedures. * Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage risk effectively. * Prior experience in financial services is a plus but not mandatory. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Sage 50 Experience a must.
