Our established dental practice is seeking a licensed and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is available as our long-standing hygienist has retired.
*Schedule:*
* Thursdays 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Fridays 8AM to 1PM Saturdays 8:00AM to 1:00 PM
*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Mandarin or Cantonese speaking an asset.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. * Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for patients * Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients. * Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient communication. * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
