Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Renovation. Construction site. Tasks: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Develop risk management plans. Respond to fire alarms and other calls for assistance. Plan development projects. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Work with minimal supervision. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Construction site supervision. Identify and advise on anticipated natural risks. Prepare reports for senior management. Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with established building specifications. Award construction contracts to building contractors . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
