Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: On-site customer service. Tasks: Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Calculate premiums. Establish client insurance coverage. Establish method of payment. Identify potential markets. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence. Insurance experience: Commercial insurance. Automobile insurance. House insurance. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
