<p><strong>What to expect:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Perform cybersecurity testing and validation for automotive ECUs and embedded systems.</li> <li>Execute security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing activities to identify potential security risks.</li> <li>Apply the requirements of <strong>ISO/SAE 21434</strong> throughout the cybersecurity validation process.</li> <li>Validate security features such as authentication, encryption, secure boot, and secure communication mechanisms.</li> <li>Analyze and troubleshoot automotive communication using <strong>CAN</strong>, <strong>Ethernet</strong>, and <strong>UDS</strong> protocols.</li> <li>Investigate diagnostic communication by analyzing diagnostic services, requests/responses, and diagnostic message flows.</li> <li>Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve cybersecurity issues.</li> <li>Support compliance with automotive cybersecurity requirements and contribute to security documentation and reporting.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you bring along:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li><strong>2+ years</strong> of experience in automotive cybersecurity, embedded systems, or automotive software testing.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>ISO/SAE 21434</strong> and automotive cybersecurity concepts.</li> <li>Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, or security validation.</li> <li>Good understanding of cryptography fundamentals, including encryption, authentication, hashing, and secure communication.</li> <li>Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including <strong>MAC</strong>, <strong>IP</strong>, and <strong>UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services)</strong>.</li> <li>Experience working with automotive communication protocols such as <strong>CAN</strong> and <strong>Automotive Ethernet</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with automotive diagnostics, including diagnostic services, message debugging, and diagnostic frame analysis.</li> <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex security issues.</li> <li>Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.</li> <li>Good English communication skills.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><span><strong>We are Bertrandt</strong>: an independent, international development service provider with long years of automotive expertise.
