<p><strong>Profile Summary</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The Infrastructure &amp; Advisory (I&amp;A) team is seeking an Associate to join its growing platform in EMEA.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be part of the I&amp;A execution team, supporting a broad range of financing and financial advisory assignments across the infrastructure sector. The role offers exposure to multiple products and transaction types, including project finance, acquisition financing, M&amp;A advisory, financing advisory and capital raising transactions.</p> <p>Working closely with senior bankers, Vice Presidents and Directors across the platform, the Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, financial analysis, client engagement and business development activities, while helping to mentor junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the Infrastructure &amp; Advisory franchise.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>• Support the execution and delivery of financing and financial advisory transactions across the Infrastructure &amp; Advisory business.</p> <p>• Work on a broad range of transaction types, including project finance, acquisition financing, M&amp;A advisory, financing advisory and capital raising mandates.</p> <p>• Lead the preparation and review of financial models, valuation analyses and other quantitative assessments.</p> <p>• Prepare and review client presentations, pitchbooks, information memoranda, credit applications and internal committee materials.</p> <p>• Conduct industry, market, company and transaction research to support client coverage, strategic analysis and business development initiatives.</p> <p>• Coordinate and support due diligence processes through the review and analysis of financial, commercial, legal and technical information.</p> <p>• Assist with transaction structuring, documentation, approvals and execution processes.</p> <p>• Manage workstreams and coordinate effectively with internal product, sector and regional teams as well as external advisers and clients.</p> <p>• Support client relationship management activities and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.</p> <p>• Mentor and support Analysts within the Infrastructure &amp; Advisory junior pool.</p> <p>• Develop a broad understanding of infrastructure financing structures, strategic advisory situations and capital markets solutions across sectors.</p> <p>• Maintain transaction records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.</p> <p>• Undertake ad hoc analysis, strategic projects and other assignments as required.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications, Skills, and Experience </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>• 1–3 years&apos; experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, M&amp;A, transaction services, consulting or a related financial services environment.</p> <p>• Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving capabilities.</p> <p>• Advanced financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.</p> <p>• Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport, digital infrastructure or related sectors.</p> <p>• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.</p> <p>• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.</p> <p>• Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>• Experience working directly with clients, advisers and transaction counterparties.</p> <p>• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and support the development of junior colleagues.</p> <p>• Bachelor&apos;s degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What Mizuho can offer you</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>Here at Mizuho, there are fantastic progression opportunities and clear paths to promotion.
