<p><strong>Smarter, Better, Now.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>ADB SAFEGATE’s </strong>functional teams are integral to <strong>powering innovation</strong> and ensuring <strong>operational excellence</strong> across the organization. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Opportunity....</strong></p> <p>The Validation technician is responsible for validation of the electrical/optical/mechanical/thermal design against the relevant requirements & standards of new and existing light & power products.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You will make an impact by...</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Cooperating during the design phase and provide necessary feedback on strong / weak points of the design</li> <li>Executing test plans and test cases for validation of new designs or changes to designs</li> <li>Inspecting and validating designs using in-house equipment and external laboratories; checking for necessary tolerances in the design to allow easy production. This also includes system and product integration testing</li> <li>Taking care of calibration of test equipment</li> <li>Participating in certification activities & tests</li> <li>Maintaining and operating the electrical labs</li> <li>Cooperating in complex field return investigations</li> <li>Building up knowledge of business standards (FAA, ICAO, IEC, …) & participate in activities to improve these business standards</li> <li>Providing technical support to other departments</li> <li>Prospecting new technologies and new materials / components</li> <li>Continuously search for improvement of design and test tools</li> <li>Taking part in external relations with innovative suppliers, subcontractors, universities, external laboratories and other business fields</li> <li>Working in accordance to internal administrative requirements, policies and procedures</li> <li>Evaluating competitor products, follow up new products in the AGL market</li> </ul> <p><strong>The talent we want to inspire has...</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>High school diploma, or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least 2 year of relevant working experience</li> <li>Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits;</li> <li>Knowledge of materials</li> <li>Experience with measurement tools (oscilloscope, power analyzer, spectrum analyzer, dimensional & hardness, thermocouples,…);</li> <li>Basic knowledge of relevant international and national standards (IEC, DIN, …) is a plus;</li> <li>Insight in modern production processes (in-house and at suppliers) related to our products (Aluminum & plastic castings, PCB boards, transformers, cables & connectors) is a plus.</li> <li>MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, ..);</li> <li>Experience with Confluence & JIRA is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>What's on offer</strong></p> <p>We value you and your contribution in the business.
