Duties & Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Trim product using a chop saw to ensure it is straight enough to go through he chop-scan.</li> <li>Perform frequent quality checks on product.</li> <li>Keep camera glass free from debris.</li> <li>Train others to operate in an efficient and safe manner.</li> <li>Perform TPM on the chop-scan.</li> <li>Keep the work area clean and orderly.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li> <li>Previous manufacturing or another fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Basic mechanical abilities.</li> <li>Basic computer skills.</li> </ul> Physical Demands: The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
