<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Position Summary</H2> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div></div></div></div><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>The warehouse associate is accountable, under direct supervision, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities to complete full cycle of shipping, stock put away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p>· Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.</p> <p>· Pick, pack, and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.</p> <p>· Utilize ERP system to process customer orders.</p> <p>· Know and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).</p> <p>· Keep warehouse manager informed of operations.</p> <p>· Strong sense of time organization and urgency.</p> <p>· Attention to detail is REQUIRED.</p> <p>· Count and record material to ensure accuracy</p> <p>· Utilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/ customer specifications</p> <p>· Utilize label printer to prepare labels as required</p> <p>· Return remaining product to proper location</p> <p>· Accurately count, package, and label per warehouse/ customer requirements</p> <p>· Accurately package and prepare material for shipment</p> <p>· Utilize freight companies, UPS and Fedex to ship product to include preparing Bill of Lading’s.</p> <p>· Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. As well as varies power tools to build shipping crates.</p> <p>· Meet established standards for quality and productivity</p> <p>· Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.</p> <p>· Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <p>· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>· At least one-year general warehousing and shipping experience preferred.</p> <p>· Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> <p>· Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards required.</p> <p>· Work well in a team environment.</p> <p>· Detailed oriented and perform basic research required.</p> <div id="fortidlp-input-element-parent"></div>
