<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Purpose</H2> </div><div><p>Be a specialist discipline engineer within UK GBU for Installation Analysis.</p> <p>Provide support to Project & Tendering Teams on specialist discipline.</p> <p>Support UK Installation Analysis Team in the delivery of installation analysis in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, design rules & procedures.</p> <p>Represent UK GBU interests within TFMC Installation Analysis Network.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Be an integrated part of UK Installation & Construction Department delivering support & assurance to Subsea Projects, Vessel & Spoolbase Operations & Engineering.</li> <li>Perform engineering work related to Installation Analysis, including: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Static and dynamic installation analyses of all reeled products (rigid pipeline, flexible flowlines, umbilicals etc);</li> <li>Support to offshore campaigns with weather forecasting and/or use of vessel motion monitoring equipment;</li> <li>Spools and structures lift analysis;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Interface with external bodies as required, e.g. design houses, clients or certifying authorities.</li> <li>Consult and solve various engineering design problems.</li> <li>Liaise with TechnipFMC Vessel & Spoolbase Operations & Project Management Teams on regular basis with update on scope of work progress. Managing workscopes and timelines to ensure all work is delivered in the most efficient manner.</li> <li>Assist the Installation Analysis Lead/Manager in development of internal training.</li> <li>Contribute to the consolidation of engineering experience in the discipline, including building up best practices and expertise within the Analysis team.</li> <li>Promote SSI initiatives.</li> <li>Support & participate in Design or Risk Reviews & HIRAs when required.</li> <li>Support any management of change (MOC) relating to Installation Analysis.</li> <li>Advise offshore teams & assist in correct and timely reporting on Installation Analysis related issues.</li> <li>Develop a positive working relationship with our clients to ensure we meet their expectations.</li> <li>Provide technical support & guidance to VSO for the appropriate understanding & implementation of Installation Analysis results.</li> <li>Be part of TechnipFMC & wider industry Installation Analysis Networks.</li> <li>Support, mentor & develop junior Installation Analysis Engineers</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You are meant for this job if:</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Engineering Degree in Structural, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Naval Architecture (BEng or BSc with honors, MEng, MSc or equivalent)</li> <li>Proven experience in the following installation analysis activities:</li> <li>Installation analysis for rigid pipelines installed by reel lay</li> <li>Installation analysis for Static Flexible Pipes and Umbilicals</li> <li>Installation analysis for Risers and Dynamic Umbilicals</li> <li>Structures and spool lift analysis</li> <li>Infield dynamic analysis</li> <li>Extensive experience using OrcaFlex.</li> <li>The ability to use and modify as required the existing analysis scripts.</li> <li>Willingness to take responsibility for design challenges.</li> <li>Good management of own time, project teams and customer interfaces.</li> <li>The ability to solve technical problems using a sound understanding of basic engineering principles.</li> <li>The ability to perform hand calculation proofs of all engineering work.</li> <li>The ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision and work on own initiative.</li> <li>Offshore experience on rigid pipelay, riser installation or umbilical installation.</li> <li>Experience of supervising junior discipline engineers.</li> </ul></div></div></div>
