Operating in a roster-based field environment, the role works closely with the Senior Geologist and Exploration Manager to deliver exploration programmes safely, sustainably and within approved technical, budgetary and scheduling parameters. The incumbent provides technical leadership during field operations, supervises exploration contractors and field support personnel, contributes to target generation and geological interpretation, and ensures exploration data is collected, managed and reported in accordance with recognized company standards. The role typically delivers outcomes over a six to nine-month planning horizon while contributing to exploration objectives extending up to one year.
