You will provide technical leadership, oversee contractors and vendors, and collaborate across the organization to integrate operational needs, technical standards, and long‑term asset strategies. </p> <p>This role is ideal for a results‑driven leader with strong facilities expertise and a passion for delivering high‑impact capital and operational projects!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong><br>• Lead the facilities project portfolio, setting priorities, managing risk, and establishing governance and technical standards.<br>• Oversee the full project lifecycle to ensure compliance with corporate procedures, safety requirements, and quality expectations.<br>• Establish and maintain performance standards across building systems including mechanical, electrical, structural, and life‑safety systems.<br>• Lead contractor and vendor oversight, including contract performance, cost control, and invoice approval.<br>• Track, report, and present project milestones, deliverables, metrics, and corrective actions to leadership.<br>• Support annual capital and operating budget planning, including preparing and validating forecasts.<br>• Coordinate building inspections and assessments and approve or recommend remediation actions.<br>• Investigate and resolve facility‑related project issues while ensuring adherence to safety policies and standards.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.<br>• Minimum 4 years of experience managing facilities or infrastructure projects.<br>• Project Management designation (such as Project Management Professional or equivalent) is an asset.<br>• Experience with SAP, CAD, and FM systems is an asset. <br>• Proven experience leading contractors and delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary facility projects.<br>• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, controls, and fire protection.<br>• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence outcomes.<br>• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Important Information</strong><br>• Permanent, full-time role.<br>• Located at our Airdrie office.<br>• Monday – Friday schedule.<br>• Frequent travel throughout the service territory is required for this role including overnights. </p><p><br> <strong>TO APPLY TO THIS POSITION:</strong> Please submit your resume via the button below: "Apply"</p> <p>We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates to be considered for an interview will be contacted.</p> <p>If you receive an error message when applying, please contact the system administrator at: <strong>[email protected]</strong></p>
