Job Summary: An aluminum casting mold/tooling technician operates specialized machinery to disassemble, clean, reassemble and/or repair metal parts and components of casting molds and bottom blocks. This job involves preparing molds/tooling offline prior to being installed on casting table, installing on casting table and making any adjustments to casting molds/tooling based on ingot sizes to be cast. It is a hands-on, detail-oriented, and physically demanding role within a manufacturing or foundry environment. Document repair actions, irregularities, and ongoing maintenance needs.</li> <li style="color:#0a0a0a;margin-bottom:0.0in;line-height:18.0pt;background-color:white;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">The ability to work collaboratively with other production and maintenance teams.</li> <li style="color:#0a0a0a;margin-bottom:0.0in;line-height:18.0pt;background-color:white;margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Enforce and adhere to all foundry-specific safety protocols, including those for molten metal handling, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and personal protective equipment (PPE) in high-temperature environments. </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>A minimum of 5-7 years of related machinist experience in industrial manufacturing. </li> <li style="color:#0a0a0a;line-height:18.0pt;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">High school diploma or GED is required.
