Transportation Associate Overview: The Transportation Associate supports transportation operations through data analysis, carrier performance monitoring, freight audit oversight, claims management, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position serves as a key resource in identifying transportation trends, resolving operational exceptions, and recommending actions that improve service, compliance, and freight spend performance. Working cross-functionally with Customer Service, Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance, and third-party carriers, the Transportation Associate evaluates transportation performance, investigates root causes of service and cost issues, and supports operational decision-making through reporting and analysis.
