Throughout the years, with the help of a dedicated, experienced workforce, Brakebush has kept the same ideals that our founders started - providing the highest quality products to meet the needs of restaurant operators, schools, healthcare facilities, convenience stores and everyone who wants to serve their customers great tasting chicken.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>POSITION: </strong>Transporter <br><strong>HOURS:</strong> 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with availability to work Fridays and overtime.<br><strong>COMPENSATION: </strong>$20.59 Hourly <br><strong>REPORTS TO: </strong> Production Supervisor<br><strong>EMPLOYMENT: </strong>Full-time</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong> Delivers supplies to production areas, palletizes product, and delivers finished product to freezers.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>JOB DUTIES: </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Supply necessary materials to production areas, supporting daily production operations.</li> <li>Operating powered industrial vehicle to assist in staging and delivery of materials and products.</li> <li>Palletize product, including assisting in box making and operating the pallet wrapper.</li> <li>Accurately complete paperwork, entering pallet tickets and other data into the computer as required.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS: </strong> Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong> Must complete required safety training (Powered Industrial Trucks). Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Previous food processing/manufacturing experience a plus. Computer experience in a windows environment a plus.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: </strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.<strong>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 10 hours per day.
