Throughout the years, with the help of a dedicated, experienced workforce, Brakebush has kept the same ideals that our founders started - providing the highest quality products to meet the needs of restaurant operators, schools, healthcare facilities, convenience stores and everyone who wants to serve their customers great tasting chicken.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>POSITION: </strong>Industrial Sanitation Worker – Base Level<br><strong>HOURS:</strong>10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sun. - Thurs., willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends<br><strong>COMPENSATION: </strong>$19.58 </p> <p><strong>REPORTS TO: </strong> Sanitation Supervisor<br><strong>EMPLOYMENT:</strong> Full-time</p> <p><br><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>Work with sanitation team to sanitize all plant processing equipment prior to start of production.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>POSITION DUTIES:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Disassemble and assemble equipment as necessary for sanitizing process.</li> <li>Clean equipment and overhead areas using a variety of tools and equipment, including high-pressure hoses, chemicals, scrubbers, etc.</li> <li>Collaborate with other sanitation employees to learn other departments and fill in as needed.</li> <li>Follow all pre-operation startup guidelines and work closely with leads, supervisors, and quality assurance team to release plant on time. </li> <li>Perform all other duties as assigned </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS: </strong> Exposure to variable temperatures, wet conditions, slippery floors, high noise levels, fog, <span style="list-style-type:disc">corrosive chemicals</span>, and heavy equipment, pushing, pulling and lifting hazards are present. Sanitation team members are required to wear appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks and chemical handling.</p> <p><br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong> Must complete and maintain required safety training, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, and Chemical Safety Training. Must meet Sanitation Back & Task requirements. Frequently bend, lift, climb, twist, kneel, push and pull for up to 8 hours a day.
