style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will work closely with a diverse team, reporting to the Mine Ventilation Superintendent to optimise ventilation demand and supply to support efficient gold extraction and maximise business value for our Underground Mining Team at Granny Smith Gold Mine.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drive ventilation planning across LOM, quarterly, weekly and monthly horizons to support production, safety and long-term mine strategy, ensuring all statutory requirements and records are accurately maintained.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead clear ventilation coordination and communication by defining constraints, issuing instructions, and providing direction to mining teams, underground personnel, contractors and graduates.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support continuous improvement and project delivery through involvement in ventilation projects, capital infrastructure planning, and monitoring of ventilation system performance.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure that all statutory responsibilities and obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner and that accurate and up to date record keeping is maintained and communicated to underground personnel to ensure that short and long term planning of the ventilation circuit with mine development and needs of the mine</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Carry out the legislated duties of the Ventilation Officer under WA legislation.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Recognised Tertiary Degree in Bachelor of Engineering, or hold the full qualifications to be appointed under Schedule 26 of the Work Health and Safety regulations 2022</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A manual driver’s licence.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Completion of all required WHS risk management units as well as the required legislation examination</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, and mining software such as Deswik CAD with experience with Ventsim Design would be highly regarded.</span></li> </ul> <p
