Field maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our harvesting equipment such as pea harvesters and sweet corn harvesters. Train other seasonal field employees in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of field equipment</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Preventative Maintenance Season (November-May)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Overhaul & repair machinery and vehicles used in field operations</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Maintain Lakeside company vehicles</li> </ul> What You’ll Bring: <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Should have three to five years experience as a Field Mechanic or equivalent experience. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of the operation, preventative maintenance and repair of field equipment would be useful</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Positive attitude</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong work ethic</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Safety mindset</li> </ul> Where You’ll Work: Milton-Freewater Located in northeastern Oregon (just 8 miles south of Walla Walla, Washington), Milton-Freewater is a community surrounded by orchards, wheat fields and vineyards set against the beautiful Blue Mountains (yes, they really are blue!)
