With AI as a catalyst in the way professional services are delivered and priced it becomes it is important to continue to evolve the systems that support the firm in understanding market signals as well as adapting our support across all service lines. As part of the Strategic Deals Team, this role will work closely with all service lines, account teams, engagement leaders, industry & sector groups to help consolidate market signals and shape pricing strategies, guiding pursuit teams through commercial decision making, and coaching teams to articulate EY Canada’s differentiated value in an increasingly AI first marketplace. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence complex internal and external stakeholders. Your Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Shape and support the evolution of our pricing capabilities in Canada from consolidating market insights, to supporting pricing strategies and change management across our practices and teams.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Help establish EY Canada's pricing strategy for big deals/strategic pursuits, driving value-based pricing aligned with AI-enabled delivery, technology investment and evolving delivery model.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Collaborate with deal coaches and act as a pricing advisor in shaping commercial narratives</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Guide account, engagement, and pursuit teams in pricing decisions, ensuring clarity between known vs. unknown AI related efficiencies and protecting margins while demonstrating value to clients.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Partner with all services lines and Clients & Industries teams to bring consistency to pricing models, commercial structures, negotiation strategies, and GTM narratives.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Partner with account, engagement, industry, sector leaders and teams to shape go-to-market strategy and articulate differentiated value propositions.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Enhance pursuit performance using data-driven insights, deal economics, and financial analysis to inform commercial decisions.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Foster commercial excellence across teams through coaching, collaboration with Global and Super Region Sales and Commercial Excellence teams and alignment with EY’s transformation and GTM priorities.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Create pricing insights tools that can be leveraged across the firm</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Become an expert in all existing pricing tools (Regionally and Globally)</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Train additional resources in pricing best practices, tools and technology</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop a network across Super Regions to continually improve our pricing practices</li> </ul> Skills and attributes for success: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum 8-12 years of experience in professional services, consulting, or strategic sales.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Experience in commercial activities, such as go-to-market strategy, pricing and sales </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Strong analytical skills, financial analysis and forecasting, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Understanding of engagement lifecycle management, risk assessment, and the ability to interact with senior management levels. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Experience working with senior stakeholders, specifically top team executives.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.</li> </ul> This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.
