Join us to work on challenging, multi-country projects in a supportive, dynamic environment where your impact truly matters.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Transaction Tax (CTT) team, working within our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice, for individuals with Restructuring Tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop their skills/specialism in Restructuring and to develop the team.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Within the CTT team, we are keen to speak with Tax Directors and Senior Managers with Restructuring tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop technical skills and specialism in restructuring and insolvency.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You would take a leading role in growing the Restructuring tax team nationally through:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Developing a close working relationship with the FR practice to be first point-of-contact on tax matters.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Developing a role within the broader Tax practice to become a go-to contact for Restructuring-related expertise.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You would be providing tax input into</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Corporate reorganisations</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Business reviews & contingency plans planning</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Accelerated M&A processes</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Legal entity rationalisation projects</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Insolvency appointments and processes including Schemes of Arrangements and Restructuring Plans</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The role can be based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, with hybrid working and flexibility supported.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Skills and attributes for success</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">What we look for</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent/Law qualification</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong technical knowledge and experience in M&A tax and/or Restructuring tax</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A client-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Commercial awareness and experience identifying and pursuing business development opportunities</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven experience coaching and developing junior team members</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What we offer you </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
